Hello well for 28 years I was sighted then went blind from an accident. I was in search of some others tat like me went blind from an accident in mid life. I would really like to work hard and collect the info and make a book to help other people deal with a major change. Thanks for any help.
I was fully sighted for twenty three years. Mine wasn't an accident though. i lost my site from a blood clot, caused by the birth control pill.

I was mostly sighted for 16 years, but that's not as trumatic as an accident. Mine was not suppose to be with me anyway, but God knows best. *smile* I think it be difficult to see then lose it all of a sudden however.
I was born blind, so I can't really offer a whole lot of...I've been there too, advice, but I think what you're trying to do is really admirable. Best of luck. I would definitely encourage you to do it.

That is a very rare complication.
music, i was involved in a car accident at the age of 35. that was on january 25th. two weeks later i was completly blind. i am 40 now. still stumbling thru, but feeling much better overall. drop me a line. lets talk. later me rock and roll mama! smile
